The guys at Apico have once again stepped up to support Rob Hooper in his quest for success in the major British Championships.
The Maxxis British motocross championship 2011 is only eight weeks away from the first round on March 6th at Little Silver near Exeter and there is no doubt that both the MX1 and MX2 classes will be ultra competitive (not to mention the MXY2 and the Veterans) and now Rob Hooper has released details that he is back into the fold with possibly one of his strongest teams ever, under the banner of Hooper Maxxis Suzuki.
Fielding two riders in the MX2 class which he has been part of for 25 years virtually unbroken, Rob has teamed up with Maxxis Tyres and some other sponsors to field Steven Clarke and Kayne Lamont in 2011. Both will ride the competitive Suzuki RMZ-250 which they are familiar with and are sure to be a force to be reckoned with.
Apart from winning the recent Brisbane Supercross in Australia recently, Clarkey already has a world title under his belt when he won the 85cc Championship as a teenager.
