The second Round of the Winter Series was marred slightly by some very bad weather in the run up to the event, but with some hard work by the track maintenance team and the Whiterose boys, the meeting was able to go ahead as planned.

The Auto class lead the way and showed the adults how to do it, with Joe Ross taking another overall win ahead of Jonty Wright and Jaygo Beasty. Also doing well in the conditions were the 65 class with Lewis Hall taking the honours there, with Harrison Burton second and Thomas Dodsworth third overall.

The 85’s provided some great racing, with Sprint Motors Thomas Shedwick taking a great overall win in the BW 85 class ahead of Oliver Richardson and Josh Crook. Nathan Claughan continued with another great performance in the SW class, taking the overall win from Ben Knight and Callum Crossland.

The adults provided some great entertainment, including Dan Wainwrights three from three in the Novice class for the overall win, and Alec Everitt taking the overall win in the Expert A Class.

The next WRMXC Winter Series meeting is Round 3 of the Series this coming weekend at Fat Cats Armthorpe on the 20th November.
