Our first report from the Cadders Hill circuit at Lyng confirms that it is all systems go for this weekend’s third round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship. The Clerk of the Course, Andrew Hay and his team have been busy putting the finishing touches to the circuit over the past weekend in preparation for the event.

The current forecast is for more rain today (Tuesday) but then higher pressure is due to sweep across the East of the Country and with very little additional rain forecast later in the week, so the sandy circuit should be in prime condition.

The photo attached to this story was taken on Monday evening and shows the start straight in ideal condition, with the club preparing to do the final grading of the circuit on Friday.

The ACU Events team are due to arrive on Thursday morning and further news will then be released, but the message is clear -THE EVENT IS DEFINITELY ON! Dont miss it.

For more information about the event please visit the Championships website www.mxgb.co.uk and the action will be starting at 9am on Sunday with the first race at 12:15PM.
